WLF Makes Third Round of Disbursements for Covid-19 Relief

The Westminster Legacy Foundation is immediately disbursing $11,250 in aid to support those in need and the nonprofits serving our community right now. Keep reading to learn how the funds have been disbursed. If you want to help these organizations and others in our community, click here.

Food for Hope: $3,500:  Food for Hope provides weekend meals to kids on free and reduced lunch in Adams County.

Direct Aid to Those Experiencing Homelessness: $3,550: We have partnered with the City of Westminster’s Homelessness Navigator to provide funding for temporary housing and emergency supplies for those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Adams 12 Five Star Foundation: $1,000: To support Westminster students’ needs (primarily technology and basic needs, such as food) caused by the pandemic.

Westminster Public Schools Foundation: $1,000: To support Westminster students needs (primarily technology and basic needs, such as food) caused by the pandemic.

Food for Hope: $1,000: To provide weekend and take-home meals for Westminster students on free and reduced lunch.

Local Restaurant Support: $1,200: Once again, we’re purchasing take-out meals from local restaurants to deliver to food pantries. We believe this has a dual benefit: supporting local, family-owned restaurants and also providing meals to local food pantries.
