Make an impact in our community

Did you know that the average American child spends over seven hours of screen time every day?

The City of Westminster wants to get kids outside, so they are building an innovative Nature Playground at Westminster Station Park.  This playground will be made of natural elements (trees, rocks, water, sand, blue sky, chirping birds, plenty of imagination…) The Nature Playground may be the first opportunity some local kids have ever had to really explore the outdoors. And it will be so cool that it just may make kids want to put down their phones and tablets and get outside!  The Westminster Legacy Foundation believes this project will make life healthier (and more fun!) for our local kids.  The foundation has committed to raising $200,000 to help the City get the Nature Playground built.  We hope you can make a donation today to help the Westminster Legacy Foundation and the City of Westminster as we work to connect kids with nature.
