This beautiful, contemplative destination garden located along Big Dry Creek on 104th Avenue is dedicated to those who serve or have served our country in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. This tranquil garden is an enduring memorial of respect that pays homage to the commitment, sacrifice and patriotism of members of the armed forces - past, present and future. This permanent military shrine includes:
- A dramatic central water feature
- Seating areas for reflection, invocation and acknowledgement
- Granite pillars honoring our military community members
- Exquisite walkways with bricks engraved with the names of our armed forces heroes and
- Stunning landscaping.
Engraved brick pavers recognizing veterans and those men and women in service to our country are available for purchase through the City of Westminster by calling 303-658-2192. Each year, the City holds a moving dedication service at the Garden on Armed Forces Day in May.
In 2008, the Westminster Legacy Foundation contributed over $178,000 to this monument of the brave.
